What is Comma Summa?
Comma Summa is an SAS platform which generates intelligently summarized content, coded for publication, which can then be published via the web, email, and in audio and video casts. Comma Summa can also function as a platform for web and email publication.
What Services Does Comma Summa Offer?
We generate summarized content from raw content and templatize it in a ready to publish format. We then deliver the ready to publish templates to the client for self publishing or we can publish the templates to the Comma Summa platform (webzine and/or email). If a client is publishing on the Comma Summa platform, in most cases, Comma Summa can invoice the client’s subscribers and manage their subscription access to the Comma Summa platforms.
Where Does The Raw Content Come From?
The client must provide Comma Summa with access to the raw content to be processed.
Can Comma Summa Publish Directly To My Platforms?
In many cases we can publish content directly to a client’s third party platform. However, we do not engineer any requirements for third party platforms to accept content. This is the responsibility of the client.
Does Comma Summa Publish Its Own Content?
No, we are a system which generates content on behalf of clients, which content can optionally be distributed using our platforms. Generally, we exercise no editorial control over client content except if the content is in violation of one of our policies or one of our vendor’s policies. We are not a publisher.
Can Comma Summa Invoice And Manage Subscribers?
Yes, as long as Comma Summa is serving as the publishing platform for one or both of a webzine or email publication.
Are There Other Options For Working With Comma Summa?
Comma Summa can provide clients with assistance services to set up and integrate Comma Summa in order to publish their content to a dedicated website and/or email platform. This service is only available when using Comma Summa approved third party vendors (e.g. Stripe, MailChimp, PMPRO, Elegant Themes etc.) as the use case may require. The client must supply its own technical resources to implement the third party platforms pursuant to Comma Summa’s guidance.
What Is The Comma Summa Ad Management Tool?
Comma Summa templates for webzine and email include slots for inserting banner ads interspersed between comment summaries. This allows clients to offer an ad server function. The Ad Management tool provides a client with the ability to administer the insertion of ads.
Does Comma Summa Provide Subscriber Support?
No, subscriber support is the sole responsibility of the client. Comma Summa will only provide subscriber support through the client. Comma Summa support for subscribers hosted on Comma Summa platforms is limited to technical issues and billing issues if Comma Summa is providing subscriber invoicing and/or management services for the client.
